need a variety of skills and experiences year round, below we have listed our ongoing volunteer opportunities. Ongoing Volunteer Opportunities
Physician Directory Specialist
Time commitment: Flexible, but all calls must be made M-F 9a-5p
Job description: This opportunity helps to fund the organization and grows our database to better serve our members. In this position you will be asked to call doctors nationwide to ask them if they would like to be included in our physician directory. Our website is currently in the process of being revamped and updating our physician directory and including new features will benefit everyone. You will be given 20 contacts at a time to call at your leisure. Notes must be kept on all calls to report back to the volunteer coordinator. This job would be perfect for stay at home parents, college students, retired people or people with a flexible work schedule.

Translators
Time commitment: Varies, currently we receive on average 10 phone calls or emails per week.
Skills required: Knowledge of English plus Spanish, Russian, French, various India languages or others, bonus if you know medical terms for each language
Job description: This opportunity helps us to better understand our members who do not speak English very well. Our translators would be in charge of translating e-mails, returning phone calls, translating some of our brochures and other tasks as needed.

Grant Writers
Time commitment: Varies, apply to as many or as few grants as you can handle
Job description: As a grant writer you will receive grant applications from which you can choose to apply to. This position has the opportunity to supplement your income if you have experience in managing grants.

Administrative Support
Time commitment: 8 – 10 hours per week
Job description: This position would require you to answer phones and handle light office work. This position would be perfect for students. Gain valuable experience, quiet place to study or do other work and get a reference for jobs.
Location: Cincinnati, OH
Ask the Expert (Dermatologists, Psychologists and other medical professionals)
Time commitment: Varies
Job Description: This position will help us provide the most accurate answers to the questions we receive. We staff our 'Ask the Expert' program with medical professionals. Currently we receive approximately 10-15 questions per week that requires an expert to provide the most accurate information. Let us know your availability. Though not required, with all experts we are in dire need for people that can speak more than one language so please let us know of all languages you speak.
